Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This policy explains what personal data SchoolMind.AI handles, why, and your choices.
- We use your data to provide the assistant. We do not sell it.
- Your requests are processed by AI service providers.
- Student data reaches us only through teachers' accounts and their school's permissions.
1. Who we are
SchoolMind.AI is a product developed and operated by SchoolMind.AI Inc. ("we", "us"). We are responsible for your personal data. For school and student data that schools make available, we process it on the school's behalf. Contact: [email protected] or our contact page.
2. What we collect
- Account details from your school's system when you sign in: your name, school and role. We do not store your password.
- Your content: messages, voice notes, files you attach and files the assistant creates.
- School data the assistant reads or changes for you when your school system is connected, which may include student information your school allows you to access.
- Usage and device data: credits used, device and app information, IP address and logs.
- Payment details: what you bought and the payment status. We do not receive card numbers.
- What you send us: feedback and contact messages.
3. How we use it
To provide the Service and your content, act in your school system when you confirm, manage credits and payments, keep the Service secure, give support, and meet legal obligations. Authorised staff may access conversations when needed for support, security or to investigate misuse; this access is restricted and logged.
4. AI processing
Your requests, and the content needed to answer them, are processed by AI service providers to generate responses. We do not train our own AI models on your content. AI output can be inaccurate, so review it before use.
5. Sharing and transfers
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service (AI processing, hosting, payments and web fonts), with your school's system to carry out what you ask, and where the law requires. These providers may process data in countries outside Lebanon, including the United States, the European Union and China. We use providers that commit to protecting the data they process for us. A list of our service providers is available on request.
6. Retention and security
We keep your data while your account is active and as long as needed for legal and operational requirements. We protect it with technical and organisational measures such as encrypted connections and access controls.
7. Students and children
The Service is for teachers and school staff and is not directed at children. Student data is processed only through teachers' accounts and within the permissions their school sets. Schools are responsible for informing parents and students.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. Contact us through [email protected] or our contact page. For student data, contact your school first. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will show the latest date above. Questions: [email protected] or our contact page.
